Citipost opened its new site in Chai Wan on 1st August 2005 in direct response to the company’s rapid growth in the Asia region. The new premises are strategically located in a key industrial zone and close proximity to many of the key financial printers in Hong Kong. The 11,000 square feet site is conveniently located only 45 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the central business district.
"Many of Citipost’s key clients operate from locations in the central business district, so this new location will facilitate better communications, performance and delivery. The additional capacity has enabled us to streamline the work flow and enhance operational efficiency and quality." says Raymond Lau, Citipost Asia.
This site replaces the old North Point site and was up and running within four weeks. It now handles all services from operations, warehousing, collections, fulfillment, sortation, data management, export documentation and customer services with over 80 office and operations staff.
