In September 2005, Citipost announced a very special relationship with youth football club – Austrey Rangers. Citipost are the clubs first official major sponsors for the clubs kit, waterproofs and pitch fees for the 2006/2007 season, which also sees our logo across the Austrey Rangers FC shirts.
Of the relationship, Steve Hibbert, Citipost says, "We feel that any football club, whether it's a premier league or Austrey Rangers, sits at the heart of its community and we believe we can play an important role by supporting such an important youth club".
Austrey Rangers FC Manager, Colin Reynolds-Bryan says "On behalf of everyone at the Club, we are delighted to welcome Citipost as a major Club Sponsor. This has been a fantastic year for Austrey. We have now been awarded the FA Charter standard and look forward to exciting times ahead. We thank CItipost for their continued support".
This season the team finished in fourth place in the Tamworth Staffordshire league first season and also appeared in the Extra cup final at a major conference league ground, narrowly losing by 3-2 after extended time and an exciting game.
The team has an Easter tour planned in which they will face Dunfermline Athletic youth team, a Scottish premiership side.
