Plans for the redevelopment of the Hayley Road site in Erith, UK are progressing well. The site will be transformed into a central warehouse location where all stock will be controlled in one area rather than multiple areas, which will enhance the stock control services.
The redevelopment of site offers clients a dedicated stock control centre staffed by a team fully experienced in stock control and management, backed up robust systems.
Kim Michael, Managing Director, Citipost AMP, says: “It’s a significant investment for Citipost and forms one of the cornerstones of our property strategy. The move will release space in our other facilities to expand our operational capacity.”
Citipost is increasing the building storage capacity from 1,000 to 2,500 pallets by raising the roof. Building work is due for completion mid 2007. Originally, the site was purchased in 2000 as part of Citipost’s expansion strategy and was the company’s head quarters until 2004.
