Citipost sponsored the ACE Press Award for Circulation Excellence and Endeavour by a Regional Newspaper, held at The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London.

The gold award was presented to the Evening Chronicle by Graeme Buchan, Managing Director, Citipost International. The ACE judges commented on the Evening Chronicle’s performance, "The judges liked the creative use achieved with limited resources, and also the circulation performance! Great energy."

The silver award for Circulation excellence and endeavour by a Regional Newspaper was presented to the Evening Standard. The judges remarked, “They offered interesting and brave incentives, and showed that they have worked very hard on the distribution.”
