Citipost DSA helps mailing houses to manage the increased workload incurred as a result of the introduction of DSA services. The requirements set by Royal Mail for downstream access services are much more involved for mailing houses than other services, such as Mailsort. At Citipost DSA we belive that mailing houses should be able to add on your margin for the extra work AND still give the client a cheaper price.

Citipost DSA offers the client the ability to optimise postings based on where the end delivery will fall and what service level is required. For example, a mail piece being delivered in Zone A, weighing 30 gramms, with a 120 level sortation and having an OCR accreditation associated, will be delivered for 13.6p.

The Citipost pricing calculator will identify where the item is to be delivered and will tell you to extract Zone A, Zones A&B, Zones A,B&C or post the whole mailing through Zonal Access. The remainder of the items can then be sent via the existing service. Where a national mailing is being processed, it may be better to send the mailing through a national DSA service, which has the same delivery points, but is required to meet national posting profiles.
